Who's behind Somhi app?
We're a dynamic team from Boston and Barcelona, made up of ex-MIT data specialists and experienced tech startup founders.
Is Somhi App available in my city?
So far, we've launched in Boston for a test trial. We plan to expand to New York and Barcelona very soon, with additional cities to follow!
What is Somhi?
Somhi is an activity-matching social networking app that helps users connect with others in their area for specific activities, such as sports, hobbies, or social events. The app provides a platform to suggest and organize meetups.
Who can use Somhi?
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Somhi. By signing up, you confirm that you meet the age requirement.
How do I create an account?
To create an account, download the Somhi app, provide your email address, create a username, and set a password. You may also upload a profile photo and other optional details to enhance your profile.
How is my personal information used?
We collect personal information such as your name, email, and location to provide and improve the app's features. This information helps us personalize your experience and enable location-based services. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Does Somhi track my location?
You select the location you want to be visible by dragging and dropping a pin on the map. This location is anonymized for users who are not connected to you as we obscure your exact location to a 0.2-mile radius to protect your privacy.
How can I manage my privacy settings?
You can manage your personal information, communication preferences, and privacy settings directly in the app's settings. You also have the option to delete your account or update your profile information.
Can I control who sees my profile and information?
Yes, you can choose to make your profile either private or public. If your profile is public, everyone can see your pictures and information. If it's private, only your connections can access your pictures and interests.
Does Somhi conduct background checks on users?
No, we do not conduct background checks on users. You are responsible for your interactions with others and should take appropriate precautions when meeting other users in person.
How does Somhi ensure the safety of meetups?
Meetups are user-initiated and organized independently by users. While we provide a platform for suggestions, we do not organize or endorse events. We recommend taking necessary safety precautions and using your best judgment when attending meetups.
What happens if I violate the Terms of Service?
